Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 3: Do You Agree With Callie’s Couple’s Therapy Decision?

At the end of Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 3: “Everybody’s Crying Mercy,” Callie and Arizona’s marital problems came to a head. In front of the couple’s therapy office, Callie made a pivotal decision, in turn determining the direction their relationship will take.

While it wasn’t a surprising decision, it was still heartbreaking to see Callie refuse to go to their appointment. However, this time around, the wives weren’t screaming and fighting — Callie was calm as she spoke, explaining that she just couldn’t do it, even though she would love to get the images of Arizona and Lauren out of her head.

Even though Arizona pleaded for Callie to come in, reducing the two to tears — especially with the line, “you wore the red dress” — it was a lost cause for now. The pain was too new for Callie to talk about it, but she encouraged her wife to go to therapy alone, hopefully working out some of the issues that stemmed the cheating in the first place.

Considering the awkward moments throughout the episode where Callie took out all her problems on her fellow doctors and friends, this was a step in the right direction. Whenever Calzona interacted, it was brief and tense, and Callie even snapped at her in front of a dying patient and two other doctors. So, at the end of the day, while we wish they would make up, we understand where they’re both coming from. What about you, Grey’s fans? Do you think Callie made the right decision, or should they have gone to therapy? Cast your vote in the reaction buttons below!
