Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 Spoilers: Episode 8 Is “Intense” for Calzona

Ready for an emotional superstorm? Dark, stormy clouds seem to be gathering on Calzona's horizon, as Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt) promises that the episode he's directing — Season 10, Episode 8, airing November 7 — will be climactic for our favorite same-sex couple (by default) on Grey's Anatomy.

"It’s really intense and really interesting," he tells Entertainment Weekly. "I love how [Sara Ramirez and Jessica Capshaw] play together. and I really love working with them."

OK, so we know that Callie and Arizona's storyline is "intense" and "really interesting." Not much to go on. Damn that tight-lipped, beautiful Scotsman!

But we're gonna assume from Kev's slightest of teases that the Calzona ladies might be finally having the no-holds-barred conversation they've been avoiding — and trying to work it out. Let's just hope that they do so in private and not in front of the whole Grey Sloan Memorial board. (Here's looking at you, Torres.)

Given that Episode 9 is “mind-blowing” for them and has a “tragic mistake” for one doctor, we could be left with quite a Calzona cliffhanger at the end of Episode 8.

By the way, this is Kevin's sixth time behind the camera. His last directorial effort was Season 9, Episode 22 — "Do You Believe in Magic" — which introduced Hilarie Burton as Arizona's mistress. (Not that we're blaming him. Much.)
