Usher Had a Small Role in Which ’90s Teen Comedy?

Usher is the ultimate triple threat, with skills for days whether he’s singing, dancing, or acting for stage and screen. But did you know he’s also a radio DJ? Well, he played one anyway, in a cameo performance in one of our favorite ‘90s guilty pleasures: She’s All That.

But we don’t have to tell that to most of our friends on Viggle LIVE! Nearly 66 percent selected the correct teen comedy in a recent quiz. More than 21 percent, however, thought it might have been Bring It On, and 12 percent guessed 10 Things I Hate About You. Honestly, we didn’t think we could love those movies any more than we already do, but since Usher makes everything better, we bet that would do the trick.

Before his appearance in She’s All That, Usher starred in The Faculty and had a short episode arc on CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful. While he remains primarily a recording artist and producer, you can still see him bust out those acting chops from time to time. In fact, next year you’ll get to catch him in his portrayal of boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard in Hands of Stone alongside Robert De Niro.
