Grey’s Anatomy Camilla Luddington Experiences Earthquake at Home

Uh oh, Grey’s Anatomy fans — this week, your favorite intern, Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson) faced some natural disaster drama in real life that she usually only has to deal with on set: an earthquake.

“Earthquake just woke me up,” Camilla tweeted on January 17.

We figured out that what Camilla must have felt was the earthquake that shook Universal City, California around 5:30 a.m., according to the LA Times. The earthquake registered a 2.6 and happened on the 20th anniversary of the Northridge earthquake, which killed 60 people and injured even more. Thankfully, this one caused much less damage and served only as a rude wake-up call to the people in the area who felt it, which fortunately didn't include a huge population.

Hear us now, listen to us later, Shonda Rhimes: do not write this into the storyline. Your natural disaster days are over. No tornados or hurricanes, either. We mean it. We have taken all the deaths we can handle for a long, long time.

Earthquakes and other natural disasters = good ideas for future Grey’s storylines? Or was last season’s superstorm enough for you? Let us know what you’re thinking below!
