Camille Grammer may have only starred on the Bravo series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the first two seasons (and recurring in Season 3), but that doesn’t mean we don’t miss the blonde bombshell. According to People, Camille underwent surgery today in response to a cancer scare!

"She underwent a radical hysterectomy today," Howard Bragman, Camille’s rep, told the mag. "The surgery went well and she is expected to make a complete recovery following a significant recuperation period."

Camille, 45, was recently diagnosed with early stage endometrial cancer and it looks like this surgery was an attempt to catch the disease before it progressed any further. "[She] has been diligent about regular checkups and monitoring, which explains the early detection and rapid treatment," Howard said.

Jennifer Giminez, who has appeared in many episodes of RHOBH with Camille, spoke exclusively with Wetpaint Entertainment in reaction to the news. "My prayers and well wishes are with Camille. She's a strong woman. May she have a speedy recovery."

While Camille is currently resting up, her rep did issue a statement on her behalf. "Ms. Grammer expresses gratitude to all the amazing health care professionals who have taken such loving and nurturing care of her.”  The statement also includes an important message for Camille's many female fans. "She urges all women to be aware of genetic factors relating to women's cancers and get regular checkups."

As you may recall, Camille does have two kids with her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer, but those were via a surrogate. Her rep said that Camille was at an elevated risk for cancer because of genetic issues.

Our thoughts are with Camille as she recovers from this intense surgery. Stay strong, girl!
