Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer shocked the world this week when she claimed that her ex-boyfriend recently beat her. But one celeb doesn't seem to buy her story.

While Camille has received an outpouring of support after claiming that she was beaten in a hotel room in Houston by then-boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos, talk show host Wendy Williams remains very skeptical.

“This abuse is very, very serious and because we are women and we’re delicate of sex, it’s very easy to run and say a man abused us and people tend to believe that," Wendy said on her show on October 30. "However, this story definitely needs more investigation and definitely sounds sketchy to me."

Wendy says she is surprised that Camille didn't run down to the hotel lobby to get help. Wendy also says that the photos Camille has shared of her smashed phone and clumps of torn-out hair don't necessarily prove anything.

Ultimately, it sounds like Wendy feels Camille is just seeking attention. I hope that you’re not playing us because you’re currently not on TV," Wendy says. "Fame is a drug."

"We’re going to keep following this story, but I am totally not convinced of ANY of the above," she adds.

Frankly, we're kind of shocked that Wendy would publicly call out Camille like this. It's hard to believe that Camille would actually pretend to have been abused.

But what do you think? Should Wendy have kept her thoughts to herself? Or does she make a good point?
