Candace Cameron Bure isn’t afraid to shut down the haters.

The actress defended herself on Instagram after being called “homophobic.”

The drama began when the 40-year-old actress posted a picture of herself on the app wearing a t-shirt that read, “Not Today Satan.”

The popular phrase was coined by Bianca Del Rio, born Roy Haylock, a champion on the reality TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The reality star quickly regrammed the photo, accusing the Fuller House star of not knowing the history of the shirt.

“If only this homophobic Republican knew,” read the caption.

The regram led the famous drag queen’s fans to head to Candace’s page and call her out on what they felt was a hypocritical look for a conservative Christian.

That’s when the mom of three fought back.

“Why do you have to be nasty to me?” she asked, responding directly to Bianca in the comments. “You don’t know me or my heart.”

“I’m not homophobic and always sad when people think otherwise. Loving Jesus doesn’t mean I hate gay people or anyone.”

“You sent a bunch of hateful people to my page writing horrible things,” she continued. “I hope next time you’ll spread love and kindness, even when you disagree with people.”

“Sending you love and wish you all the best. Truly.”

The reality star shared the comment on his Instagram with the caption, “HER RESPONSE…....,” along with the hashtags #liveyourlife, #lovejesus, and #republicanpride.
