In their video, Candace expressed concerns about how sexy and romantic this dance can be. She wanted to make sure her Christian values were respected. "This Rumba is not a sexual dance, it's a sensual, emotional dance," she explained.
She came out on stage in all black. She looked gorgeous. And the dance did what she wanted. It was very emotional, and not at all raunchy. There were a few moments where she seemed too sharp, but mostly she flowed beautifully.
Carrie Ann thought it was a little too Contemporary, without enough Rumba. She also noted that Candace's arms need work. Yeah, we noticed that. Len agreed that her arms need to be more expressive, it was a little hard and aggressive. That said, she did well. Bruno loves that she danced from the heart, but agreed with the other judges.
