Dancing With The Stars

Candace Cameron-Bure Plans to Wear Only Modest Costumes on DWTS (VIDEO)

Candace Cameron-Bure has always been forthright about her conservative values, so we were a little surprised when the Full House alum joined the cast for Season 18 of Dancing With the Stars. As a competitor of the reality dance competition, the former child star would be tasked with busting out some pretty sultry moves, and in skimpy and sexy outfits, no less. But Candace now reveals that she’ll be making some modifications to the dress code this season.

The mother of three says she is opting out of the plunging necklines and skintight leotards, preferring some costumes that are a little more covered-up. As a devout Christian, she wants to remain true to her faith, while still enjoying the fun of the dancing.

However, don’t expect DJ Tanner, ahem, Candace, 37, to be sporting all turtlenecks and maxi skirts. She’s shooting for a “happy medium between sexy and modest,” though she admits that she will be far from “the sexiest one out there.”

“I am a mom and I want to be a good role model for my children and my husband. But I think for each dance we’ll wear what reflects the dance but in the most classy way possible,” Candace explained.

Good for Candace for sticking to her guns! Though we do love a good sheer and sequins ensemble, we’re sure the actress will look gorgeous in whatever she wears.
