This morning it seemed like Candace Cameron Bure couldn’t take the View’s #OscarSoWhite discussion when she walked off the stage.

But now we know the conservative talking head was so ill she couldn’t sit up anymore.

About 20 minutes into the January 19 talk show, the Fuller House actress disappeared during a commercial break, never to return.

Head moderator Whoopi Goldberg eventually explained the 39-year-old "[hadn’t] been feeling well for the past couple hours" and her co-hosts had urged her to get some rest.

"She didn't want you to think she just walked off and wasn't having it,” the comedian added, “she just really wasn't feeling well.”

Candace, who’s since confirmed she actually had the flu and low blood sugar, experienced an awkward moment before leaving the ABC show.

Whoopi, 60, and guest host-slash-journalist Sonny Hostin hotly debated Jada Pinkett Smith’s decision to boycott the Oscars. The Full House alum was quiet during most of the discussion and eventually said to Joy Behar, "Hi, Joy. How are you?" as if she felt excluded.

Her Sister Act co-star didn’t love the comment, and replied, "Well you know what, I talk about God, you gotta talk about these damn movies.”

Maybe Candace will use her time off to figure out what to say when the controversial conversation comes up again.
