Candice Glover, Kree Harrison Debut on Billboard Charts, Which One Came Out on Top?

Now that they've finished their stint on American Idol, Kree Harrison and Candice Glover will be able to regularly see their names in lights. But this week they'll just have to settle for seeing their names in Billboard magazine.

Kree and Candice's singles have both charted, making them the 69th and 70th contestants of American Idol to debut on the Billboard charts, making it a momentous occasion for both them and the show.

Candice's "I Am Beautiful" debuts on eight different with her coronation song while Kree's "All Cried Out" lands itself on three.

With Candice and Kree debuting, they continue the record of every winner and runner-up making the leap from the Idol stage to the Billboard charts.

Kree's “All Cried Out” debuted at No. 22 on both Country Digital Songs and Heatseekers Songs, and at No. 34 on Hot Country Songs.

Candice's “I Am Beautiful” is already a top five hit in its first week on the charts. It entered the R&B Digital Songs tally at No. 5. The song is No. 6 on Heatseekers Songs, No. 8 on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs, No. 33 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, No. 39 on Hot Digital Songs, No. 40 on Hot Digital Tracks, and No. 93 on the Hot 100. Phew! Go girl!

Funny enough, Candice has some company on the charts, with five other Idol winners making the charts this week as well. These other five winners include: Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia, Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery, and Phillip Phillips.

Looks like Idol's doing something right.
