Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley to Host 47th Annual CMAs

Fantastic news, y'all! America's sweetheart Carrie Underwood and country crooner Brad Paisley have been tapped to host "Country Music's Biggest Night" for the sixth year in a row — the 47th Annual CMA Awards airing on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

“Carrie and Brad are the consummate hosts,” said Ed Hardy, President of the CMA Board of Directors. “They have the respect of our industry, artistic credibility, critical acclaim and a quick-witted, genuine rapport that makes them popular with our audience and the viewers at home. We are delighted to have them back as hosts for the sixth year.”

Both Brad and Carrie boast a whole slew of CMA trophies on their mantels, with Brad clocking in at 14 and Carrie with five. What makes Carrie's record so impressive is that only six other female solo artists have more, including legends Dolly Parton and Tammy Wynette. In other words, she's in good company.

Viewers were blown away (see what we did there?) last year when the American Idol winner performed live, so with any luck she'll take the stage again this year. At the very least we can look forward to a plethora of wardrobe changes. Take a look at the "Blown Away" singer's 10 best looks from the 2012 CMAs.

Are you excited that Carrie and Brad are returning to host the 2013 CMAs? Dish below, country music fans!
