Carrie Underwood Rescues Son and Dogs From Hot Car
She's known for letting Jesus take the wheel, but when it comes to her family, Carrie Underwood doesn't wait for divine intervention to save the day. Carrie had a bit of a scare on Saturday when her son and dogs were accidentally locked inside her car on a hot day, so what did she do? She broke into the car to rescue them, naturally.
The scene unfolded on Saturday morning when Carrie exited her car for a moment at an undisclosed location, only to then realize that her dogs had somehow locked themselves inside the car along with her 4-month-old son, Isaiah. Acting quickly and heroicly, Carrie smashed the window of her car before the situation got out of hand. She shared the experience on her Twitter account, saying, "When your dogs manage to lock themselves, all your stuff & the baby in the car & you have to break a window to get in. #WhatAreTheChances."
Several other celebrity moms saw Carrie's tweet and empathized with her. "@CarrieUnderwood Oh. My. Word. I know your heart stopped!! Glad all your babies are okay!!!" says Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott, while 2 Broke Girls star Beth Behrs says, "@carrieunderwood omg! terrifying!!!" We're glad Carrie was able to react so swiftly and successfully in such a scary situation, and we bet Isaiah and her dogs are thankful, too!
