The Walking Dead has many famous fans, one among them being American Idol winner and music superstar Carrie Underwood. So might we see the “Before He Cheats” singer on the AMC drama in the future?

When asked if there was anyone from a “completely different universe” who might make his or her way onto the show, TWD executive producer Gale Anne Hurd told AMC.com, “We have so many fantastic fans and some of them are famous. I know Carrie Underwood is a huge fan. I’ve read in People magazine that she tries to never miss an episode.”

While Gale didn’t exactly extend an invitation to Carrie to guest star on the show, she did point out there are many other people who make TWD special. ”There’s such a broad range of people, but the good news is that we have such fantastic extras in the Atlanta area who bring the walkers to life that I don’t think anyone can improve upon them,” Gale added. “I think it’s important to always remember what great work they do. They’re just as important to us as anyone who’s famous.”

Carrie may not be headed to Atlanta anytime soon, but several new actors are joining Season 6, including Merritt Wever, Ethan Embry, and maybe Lost’s Kevin Durand. We can’t wait!

The Walking Dead Season 6 premieres with a 90-minute episode on October 11 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
