Cassandra Ferguson Moving! What Does It Mean for Her Engagement? Exclusive

First it was Renée Oteri who packed up and moved across the country to Seattle after getting engaged. Now, Cassandra Ferguson is following in her fellow baby mama’s footsteps! Wetpaint told the Season 18 star’s story earlier this month when she spilled the details of her engagement to Detroit Pistons player Rodney Stuckey. So, what’s making Cassandra pack up and head west to become Renee’s neighbor?

The 22-year-old dancer first announced she was leaving the Motor City for the Pacific Northwest on Twitter, writing “About to be neighbors with @reneeoteri! well not really, but 15 min away which is basically neighbors #iamacrazyneighbor #ibabysittho.”

“We just got a place in Seattle!” Cassandra tells Wetpaint. “I still have my place here, so I will probably be back and forth, but we will spend a lot of the summer in the northwest.” Why the foothold in Detroit? Because family and friends are still in town, and with a future husband who lives on the road for several months a year, it’s nice to have a second home to call, uh, home. The couple is moving right down the street from Lindzi Cox, just minutes from show pal Renee. We’re guessing lots of BBQs are in their future…

As for wedding plans, Cassandra hasn’t made any steps in that direction, since the move is their main focus. While Rodney has been playing for the Detroit Pistons since 2007, he is originally from Seattle and is likely to be traded this summer. With his family in town, including daughter, Lexi, who is 9 and lives in the city with her mom, it was the perfect time to relocate.

We look forward to seeing Cass around town and welcome her to Seattle! Let us know if you need help finding a wine bar, girl.
