Castle Creator Andrew Marlowe Promises More Fun Storytelling in Season 5!
ABC has yet to give Castle the green light on Season 5, but show creator Andrew Marlowe doesn't seem too worried.
In fact, the TV writer is already busy penning potential plotlines for next fall, which he promises will include lots of "really intense, fun storytelling."
“I think it’s going to be interesting to see the Beckett/Castle relationship next season when we have a lot of the cards on the table, and when they’ve had fundamental confrontations and each of them knows how the other one feels," he told EW.
Will the mystery writer and his detective muse return to the witty banter and flirtatious glances that made their chemistry so fervid in early seasons? Marlowe makes it sound very likely, now that Castle and Beckett are finally handling their emotional baggage.
“We didn’t have a chance to mine it [their relationship] as much as we wanted to because of where the characters were emotionally," he explained. "We’re hoping to return to it a little.”
If Andrew Marlowe's taught us anything, it's that good things are worth waiting for … always!
