Castle Spoiler: Kate Beckett’s “Wild” Past Will Be Revealed in Season 5!

There's a lot we already know about Castle's Detective Kate Beckett — her penchant for cheesy soaps and sci-fi? Check. Her childhood dream to argue a case before the Supreme Court? Check — but there's still a lot left to learn.

That must be why her hair is so big lately … it's full of secrets!

But according to show creator Andrew Marlowe and actress Stana Katic, our enigmatic crime-solver is about to let a major cat out of the bag. At one point in her life — presumably after her stint as a Nebula 9 fangirl — K-Becks was a bit of a badass.

While chatting with fans at University of Southern California on Nov. 4, the pair teased that we'll learn more about Kate's past, specifically her "wild" phase.

"We're always looking for moments to reveal different aspects of Beckett," Marlowe said. "And I think this season what we've aspired to is starting to peel back those layers in a way that we were never able to have access to before, which is storytelling that we're really excited about."

So what will we find when we open those doors and look inside those closets? "She just wants to get on a motorcycle," Marlowe joked.

Stana giggled along in agreement — "I really do want to get on top of a motorcycle," she said.

We know one mystery writer whose engine that would really rev!
