Castle Cast and Crew Nominated for 2012 Shorty Awards

Just as we predicted, ABC's Castle is dominating the 4th Annual Shorty Awards nominations (as if we needed any more proof that Castle fans trump all other TV fans, right?).

What are the Shorty Awards, you ask? Every year, millions of Internet-addicted people are given the chance to nominate their favorite social media content creators in a variety of categories.

The top six nominees who receive the highest number of tweets in each category become 2012 Shorty Awards finalists, and top-voted nominee in each category receives the Shorty Vox Populi (popular vote) distinction.

Some winners will have the opportunity to receive special distinction awards decided by members of the Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences.
