Castle Review: What Did You Think of Castle Season 5, Episode 7: "Swan Song"?
Tonight's episode of Castle, "Swan Song," took us behind the music with a mockumentary-style hour of laughter-inducing television!
Through the shaky lens of a camera, we watched the investigation into James Swan's murder unfold like an episode of The Office meets Cops — and we also got to see our favorite detectives in a completely new light. That is, under the spotlight!
And in the process, Castle and Beckett were this close to getting caught by Captain Gates. But the whole thing went off without a hitch, and justice was eventually served to Holy Shemp's killer bassist (pun intended). And lest we forget to mention the impromptu performance by Detective Esposito and Detective Ryan — fingers crossed for an encore before the end of Season 5!
But the real kicker was the final scene, when Beckett trapped the unsuspecting cameramen in the closet — a hiding spot she's all too familiar with. Esposito can certainly carry a tune, but Kate's mischievous laughter was music to our ears!
