What do you get when you combine ABC's Castle with Christopher Guest's film Best in Show? Season 4, Episode 13, "An Embarrassment of Bitches."

Not only are we introduced to the seedy underbelly of competitive dog shows, but we also meet the fabulously talentless Kay Cappuccio, and her equally talentless (but ridiculously adorable) toy Chihuahua, Lolita.

The same can't be said for Francisco's loyal canine companion, Royal, who is influential to the episode (read: Castle and Beckett's relationship) in a variety of ways. Caskett decide to share custody of the orphaned pup, and in the process enjoy an intimate moment in Kate's kitchen.

Although Kate pulls her hand away from Castle's gentle grasp, we know everything inside of her wants him to stay and join her on the couch for a kissing sesh. (Royal's not a bad substitute, though.)

Francisco's dog proves even more helpful when he links Kay's perfume, Guilty Pleasure, to the crime scene by pawing at the ground, and later chasing down her boyfriend, Reggie, who has ties to the notorious Vasquez family in Argentina.

Oh, and in the words of Kay Cappuccio herself, he's guilty … of cold-blooded murder.

"An Embarrassment of Bitches" is definitely a cute episode, but is it worthy of Best in Show?
