We’re not gonna lie: We know a lot about tonight’s Castle episode, “The Blue Butterfly.”

So far, we know Caskett smooches, Lanie croons, and Ryan and Espo look day-um good. However, given that this ep takes place almost entirely inside Castle’s vivid (and wild) imagination, there’s still a lot that’s been left to the, well, you know.

That being said, here are a few things we really, really hope will happen during the ep. They say not to count your chickens before they hatch — or your lead characters before they hook up — but it can’t hurt to dream, right?

5. A ton of sexual tension

Like we mentioned, a Caskett kiss — between their alter-egos, anyway —  is basically a sure thing. But judging by some saucy sneak peeks showing the duo all close and cozy, it looks like there will be a lot of sexual tension leading up to that epic moment.

We know there’s at least one almost kiss, but we’d also love to see the twosome tango — in the literal sense, this time.

4. One awesome —  if perplexing —  case

Sure, we’re obviously excited for the Caskett kiss, and witnessing Beckett’s glamorous (and girly) alter ego, and we can’t forget how stoked we are to watch Lanie rock the mic, but Seamus Dever (Ryan) told Wetpaint Entertainment there’s far more to the episode than that.

“I think fans are going to be really surprised at the episode because it's actually a pretty good mystery along with all the flashbacks,” says Seamus. “It's nice how they wove that in there seamlessly.”

Seriously though, what is the case all about? And why do we have to go back to the 1940s to figure it out? Surely it can’t be just to see our characters gussied up in their finest Golden Age garb … although we’re not going to argue with that!

3. Broseph brawl

Seamus Dever (Ryan) told The Hollywood Reporter he plays a “"tough-ass guy with an Irish accent,” and in one sneak peek pic Ryan and Esposito are squared off against Castle. But is there an actual fight? Please say yes!

2. Lotsa kisses

Thanks to this sneak peek video, we now know Castle doesn’t just kiss Beckett, Lanie —  as crooner Betsy Sinclair —  plants one on him, too. Of course, Lanie only engages the hard-boiled detective to get goons Ryan and Esposito off their backs, but still. Who else does Castle lock lips with?

1. Caskett —  er, the hard-boiled detective and his femme fatale —  go all the way

Once upon a spoiler, Stana Katic (Beckett) teased that not only will Castle and Beckett’s alter egos share an explosive kiss, but she also hinted that we could see the twosome “enjoying each other in a way that Castle and Beckett haven’t figured out yet,” in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"Of course," she continued, "people who fall in love do things that people who fall in love do. [Laughs]

That could only mean they consummate their love, right?
