First comes love and then comes marriage, but is a baby carriage on the horizon for one of our favorite Castle characters?

Sadly, it’s not Caskett, but Detective Ryan may be welcoming a bundle of joy in Season 5. As romance heats up in the precinct — including some competition between Rick and Kate — on Valentine’s Day, Kevin is actually rushing home for a less-than-romantic evening with his wife.

“There are some very romantic things going on with the rest of the precinct … and some very non-romantic things going on with the Ryans, because he’s got to rush home because Jenny’s temperature is the correct time and she’s ovulating … all those sorts of things,” portrayer Seamus Dever spilled to TVLine. “Ryan is actively being a participant in the child-making process!”

Whoa. We know that Ryan and Jenny are in love and happily married, but is he ready for a baby? Only time will tell. And hey, maybe Caskett will follow in his footsteps and have a child of their own. Sigh, if only.
