Castle Spoiler: Will 3XK Return Before Season 4 Is Over? Andrew Marlowe Dishes!

The Triple Killer (3XK) is one of our fave recurring story lines on Castle (well, aside from Johanna Beckett’s cray cray murder).

We were stoked when it was previously teased that the big bad guy might show up again this season, but now we’ve got some bad news. When TV Guide questioned Castle creator Andrew W. Marlowe if the killer will come around again this season, he couldn’t give a definitive answer!

Although Marlowe says the producers are “in talks about whether we're bringing him back by the end of this season,” there’s a slight problem. What’s the hold up on the decision?

Marlowe says the killer’s third coming depends on whether Castle gets green lighted for Season 5. But if it does, the 3XK storyline is “something that [producers] might wait and make more of a meal of next year,” he says.

Aw, come on. We like meals, but can’t we at least get a little snack to tide us over?
