Castle’s Jon Huertas Wins 2012 ALMA Award! (PHOTO)

Let’s bring our hands into a slow clap for the Latino actor who plays one of our favorite homicide detectives, Jon Huertas.

The Castle actor portrays Detective Javier Esposito — the role which earned him a 2012 American Latino Media Arts Award last night.

Jon beat out other impressive actors from hit shows like The Vampire Diaries and Dexter to pick up the ALMA Award in the category of Favorite TV Actor - Supporting Role.

Though the awards don’t officially air until Friday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, we saw these sexy pics online of Jon giving his acceptance speech and couldn’t resist spoiling the fun!
