Yesterday, March 27, was Castle star Nathan Fillion's birthday. The 41-year-old actor was surrounded by his fellow cast and crew as he celebrated the big day, which included indulging in a delicious chocolate cake with the words "Happy Birthday, Nathan" inked in blue frosting.

"Happy Birthday to the man of the hour, Nathan Fillion! I love you, darling. From Sir with love!" Penny Johnson Jerald (Captain Gates) tweeted.

Stana Katic helped Nathan fulfill his birthday wish of raising $50,000 for charity: water, an organization that helps bring clean drinking water to people in developing nations.

"It's @NathanFillion 's birthday. Wish him a happy one. he "needs a dollah" http://www.mycharitywater.org/NathanFillion," she wrote.

The Twitter sure effort paid off, as Nathan easily surpassed his goal, raising a total of $58,481 so far. What a guy!
