Castle fans, prepare yourselves to go where no man has gone before — Kate Beckett's boudoir!

Thanks to ABC.com, we now have an inside look at the detective's humble abode, including her bedroom, which is decorated with all sorts of eclectic and antique knick knacks and accessories.

Kate's room mixes feminine pieces (that red velour chair? to die!) with industrial accents like the wrought iron light fixture over her bed — very Restoration Hardware.

If you look closely at the images, you'll notice that Kate has a penchant for travel and culture — her decorations include everything from ivory elephants (has she traveled to the far East?) to pictures of the Eiffel Tower (is she a closet romantic?). So many questions.

But what we find most interesting about her room is the recurring presence of birds. One appears to be a sparrow and another appears to be a dove. Not only are these winged creatures symbols of love, peace, and renewal, but they can also bring positive energy to a home, according to the principles of Feng Shui.

Unfortunately, we're not able to see Kate's bed — but on the upside, perhaps they're just waiting for Castle to help her christen it? Fingers crossed!

What do you think of Kate's interior decorating skills? Tell us in the comments below!
