How Will Castle's Season 5 Premiere Begin? Andrew Marlowe Tells All!

We've known for months now that Castle's much-anticipated Season 5 premiere will pick up right where the Season 4 finale left off — but does that mean in Mr. Smith's office, where the episode technically ended, or with Rick and Kate between the sheets?

Show creator Andrew Marlowe has the answer.

"We think it's important to show the fans what this moment means for Beckett and Castle and how it may change and complicate their relationship," he dished to TV Guide about the premiere.

Back in December, Marlowe told Wetpaint Entertainment that Caskett's first time would be more than just a "roll in the hay," and that's a promise he intends to keep. Instead of splitting the couple up, à la Moonlighting, Marlowe plans to explore "the fun of being in a relationship."
