Time to break out the mistletoe and holiday cookies, Castle fans! Tonight, Dec. 3, Rick and Kate are getting into the Christmas spirit.

In our favorite detectives’ latest case, Santa Claus is decked out in a new shade of red — crimson. In Season 5, Episode 9: “Secret Santa,” the dynamic duo investigates the mysterious death of “Kris Kringle,” who literally falls from the sky in Central Park.

Of course, it isn’t all about whether Santa was naughty or nice. Creator Andrew Marlowe told Wetpaint Entertainment that Caskett’s first Christmas together will be “fun” and “challenging,” and we can’t wait to see what that entails.
