Parking garage, or deserted ice skating rink? You decide.
Castle writers dropped a huge (yet predicted) bomb on us Monday night (OK, they actually dropped more than one, but the one we’re talking about here is figurative): Castle’s dad is somehow connected to the CIA.
Well, maybe. After all, it was super-shady CIA agent Sophia Turner — the woman of “many lies” — who told Castle he didn’t gain special access to the United State’s main knowledge center just because he’s cute and charming, which we assume was also news to Mr. Smooth Talker.
Still, knowing that Castle’s dad is/was potentially some kind of covert operative opens up a whole lot of questions about who he is, where he is, and what he does — or has done.
Perhaps the biggest question here is: Is Rick’s dad somehow connected to Johanna Beckett’s murder? Many a Castle fan thinks that Castle and Beckett might share this weird, horribly twisted link.
Castle writers love to push our characters together and then pull them apart, and we can imagine this would be one huge hurdle for the crime writer and his methodical muse to overcome.
