Castle Season 5 is about to come to a close, but the show’s male lead, Nathan Fillion, has a busy summer ahead of him! Entertainment Weekly recently revealed that Nathan is among the actors voicing a character in Pixar’s upcoming animated flick, Monsters University, set to be released on June 21, 2013.

The family-friendly film is a sequel to 2001’s Monsters, Inc., and Nathan will be joined by some of the original film’s stars, including Billy Crystal, John Goodman, and Steve Buscemi. However, he will also share the screen with some other newbies such as The Office’s John Krasinski, Aubrey Plaza from Parks and Rec, and Bonnie Hunt.

Monsters University marks Nathan’s second movie to be released in the coming months, as he can also be seen in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters out this August.

Nathan’s character, Johnny Worthington, is described as the “confident president of Roar Omega Roar (ROR), a Monsters University fraternity that prides itself on its notable Scarers.” That role sounds perfect for our Nathan!
