Monday night's episode of Castle was a real treat. Not only was "Cuffed" fun and suspenseful, but thanks to Andrew Marlowe and Terri Miller's collaborative writing efforts, we got to see the Castle/Beckett dynamic from a completely new perspective: through the eyes of a happily married couple.

If anyone knows the key to successful relationship, it's Andrew and Terri. The show creator and his "partner in crime" have been together for almost 20 years.

"I could say 'he came up with this line, I came up with that line' but it's really 'us,'" Terri recently tweeted about her co-writer hubby.

Last Monday, we finally got a glimpse into the "us" that Castle and Beckett have the potential to become. After a bit of bickering, they discovered that the key to a successful partnership is compromise. With a little give and take, Rick and Kate finally found their rhythm.

Andrew and Terri's influence was palpable in Esposito and Ryan's dialogue as well. Andrew even tweeted about Esposito's canoe analogy: "Ask @TerriEdda about how we canoe," he said, tongue-in-cheek.

So what do you think, Castle fans? Should this husband and wife writing duo put their brilliant heads together for more episodes in the future? We definitely think so.
