Spoiler: Castle and Martha Involved in a Robbery!

We know Rick Castle’s family — mama Martha and daughter Alexis — aren’t exactly pleased with his touch-and-go side hustle at the police station, so we bet they never expected they’d end up right in the middle of a crime themselves!

In Castle Season 4, Episode 7: “Cops & Robbers,” Martha and Castle end up “on the wrong side of a bank robbery,” Castle exec producer Andrew Marlowe tells TV Line.

Uh oh! Martha’s trying to secure a loan for her school when this routine bank trip turns into something seriously dangerous.

Despite the scary storyline, Marlowe calls the episode “fun,” and TV Line reports there’s a cute “wink to TV fans” — the robbers nickname are Dr. Quinn, Dr. Huxtable, Dr. Howser and Trapper John.

But who will come to rescue Rick and the marvelous Martha Rodgers in their time of need? None other than Kate Beckett, natch. Guess we mighta been right about that post-rescue smooch!
