It wasn’t the accent that got us, although that certainly didn’t hurt anything. What really caught our attention about the butler was the vaguely annoyed look on his face when his day was interrupted by a murder.  Who’s got time to answer questions when there’s dusting to be done and a deep sense of regret about one’s life to feel? We’re a fan of any guy who works out his frustration by temporarily stealing two original Dickens novels (another Dickens reference!) from his employer. “To me, it was like levying a tax on him for being an idiot.”
