Castle star Seamus Dever is one multi-talented dude. Not only can he act, but he can also play the piano and sing. We got a little taste of Seamus's vocal stylings when Jon Huertas posted a behind-the-scenes YouTube clip of the duo belting out an old doo-wop tune.

It's obvious Seamus takes his singing seriously, especially when it comes to karaoke.

"Choosing a karaoke song is tricky. You need something showy and not too long. You need to think ahead about instrumental breaks too," he cautions.

What songs should one steer clear of? "Stairway to Heaven," “Saturday Night” by Bay City Rollers, and David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance."

"Those are both past karaoke mistakes of mine," the actor admits.

When it comes to finding the right song, Seamus says to look for less common karaoke tracks that most people haven't heard in a while, and keep a list of them on your phone to help remind you.

"I always look for 'Vehicle' by the Ides of March or 'A Town Without Pity" by Gene Pitney," he says.

But his favorite is “Delilah” by Tom Jones. "I once brought down the house at an Irish pub in East Berlin. It was karaoke night and all the chaps from the British Embassy were there so they had a nice homegrown appreciation of the tune and they sang along to the chorus. Pretty cool night."
