In keeping with Castle execs ability to seamlessly blend fiction and real life, Rick Castle’s daughter Alexis Castle made the decision to attend a real university at the end of Season 4 — New York City’s Columbia University, to be exact. Although she was accepted to Stanford, her dream school, Alexis ultimately made the decision to stick closer to home and her family.
With only a few months left ‘til Alexis becomes a real live coed, we’ve started to wonder what life will be like for the former valedictorian come fall. Like, where will she live? What will she major in? And will her roommate turn out to be a total creeper with loads of hermit crabs who plays with action figures? (Actually, Alexis might not mind that last part ...)
Jokes aside, we’re very curious as to what the ginger-haired sweet pea will choose to study. Alexis has a pretty impressive academic resume: She took accelerated classes in calculus, physics and German in high school, attended two summer programs for gifted students (including one at another Ivy League school, Princeton) and had enough credits to say sayonara to Marlowe Prep one semester early.
Extracurricularly, she plays the violin, fences and served in student government. And last we saw Alexis, she was interning underneath sassy medical examiner Lanie Parish. She even once volunteered in the 12th precinct’s evidence room. Girl’s kind of all over the place.
That said, we really have no clue what the multi-talented (and slightly polymathic) Little Miss Castle will major in at Columbia, so we’re turning the mystery over to you. Which subject do you think Alexis will pick for her scholarly studies, Castle fans? Vote below!
