It seems like it’s been forever since Castle and Beckett woke up, smelled the roses, and realized that they are perfect for one another. And although the Season 4 finale was more than satisfying for us Caskett fans, we’re all dying to know what happens next.

Sure, Season 5 doesn’t premiere until September, but we now know that filming starts tomorrow, July 17!

Castle actor Jon Huertas tweeted the deets on Saturday saying:

It looks like Nathan Fillion and Molly Quinn needed an extra day to recover from Comic-Con before getting into character for Season 5. And Nathan had better be ready for his morning-after close-up; Castle creator Andrew Marlowe has already confirmed Season 5's opening scene!
