There's a good reason Richard Castle is considered one of the most eligible bachelors in New York City: He's successful, good looking, and has an amazing apartment in the heart of Manhattan.

So, where on the island is the White Whale's pad located exactly? While Castle has never actually alluded to his neighborhood, we're 99% sure it's Soho. After all, Rick Castle would never be caught dead above 14th Street.

Right now, you might be thinking, "Wait a minute! In Season 3, Episode 14: 'Lucky Stiff,' Martha receives a check in the mail addressed to 595 Broome St.!" The only problem is that 595 Broome St. is an empty lot. See for yourself.

Thanks to an avid fan on CastleTV.net, we may have found the actual facade that's used for the loft's exterior scenes. "I think the building they show on the show is at 425 Broome St. at the corner of Crosby Street," they said. "I think the best view is looking from Crosby south towards the intersection with Broome."

If you're planning on ringing the doorbell at 425 Broome St. with a pen and copy of Heat Wave in hand, you may be disappointed. Castle is filmed in Los Angeles, so the killer interior you see on TV is really just a set designed by Alfred Sole.

Another Castle mystery solved.
