Will Stana Katic Get an Emmy Nomination for ''Kill Shot''? You Tell Us
One word about Stana Katic’s (Beckett) performance Monday night: Wow. There were tears, flashbacks, bloody body parts — you name it! We heard “Kill Shot” would showcase Stana’s acting chops, but, man. That girl is good.
Before “Kill Shot” aired, critics said the harrowing sniper episode would put Stana’s talent on display as she shed some Emmy-worthy tears. We were very impressed by Katic’s emotional, gut-wrenching performance.
Given the fact that Stana’s character is habitually somber and devoid of strong emotion like, 99 percent of the time, it was refreshing to see Stana/Beckett all riled (and teared) up. (Not that we like to see Beckett in the line of sniper fire, but, you know. Whatever it takes.)
From the sounds of it, fans were pretty blown away by Stana’s performance, too. Nobody can deny that Stana brought it hardcore, but now the question is whether Beckett’s traumatic trip down the rabbit hole was enough to snag the Canadian actress an Emmy nod.
What did you think, Wetpainters? Will our girl Stana finally walk away with an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Beckett’s gripping PTSD?
