Roy Montgomery

Roy Montgomery hangs out in his office a lot because he's the Captain and he feels like it. He sometimes emerges to say, "Nice work" to Castle and Beckett, whom he believes make a crackerjack team. He doesn't put up too much of a fight when the Mayor tells him a novelist will be the newest member of his unit, because it's okay as long it doesn't affect his pension. Affable and no nonsense, he is the glue of his department.
