This seems like a familiar scene from Firefly’s two-hour pilot episode, but there’s much more than meets the eye. Though Nathan Fillion’s Captain Mal doesn’t appear in this clip, fans get a glimpse of Serenity’s history and his sad, violent past via his partner in crime, Zoë.
