In Castle's Season 5 premiere, "After the Storm," Esposito meets up with Castle and Beckett after he IDs Cole Maddox. The team confronts the former U.S. soldier, but he already has Montgomery's secret files in his hand ... and a gun in his other one!
Side note: Is it just us, or does Esposito know something is up with Castle and Beckett? "An extra, extra piece?" he retorts when Castle asks for a gun. Classic!
