Tyler Baltierra Apologizes For Being a “D—” to Girlfriend Catelynn Lowell
Teen Mom's Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra were just as adorable as ever during their one-off special, Being Catelynn, but we definitely sensed some tension. Sure, Tyler decided he was ready to commit to Cate by the end of the episode, but he also made her feel pretty terrible about their relationship during a series of awkward conversations about how he totally doesn't want to get married.
Tyler was especially hurtful while talking to Catelynn about his decision to call off their wedding, and even mimicked her voice when she politely asked him to watch his tone! This interaction was devastating for us Tylynn Shippers, but fear not! Tyler took it to Twitter to kinda-sorta apologize for his behavior, saying, "So to everyone, was I being a d—? Probably. Am I a complete wuss about marriage? Yeah. For some reason it FREAKS me out."
Why, Tyler? WHY.
"Marriage is freaky because, sometimes I feel like things can change when you put a 'title' on it," he continued. "Is it a guy thing? Idk."
We're not sure about that being a "guy thing," but Tyler's Teen Mom co-star, Maci Bookout, weighed in with her two cents, tweeting, "My parents were married at 17... in January they celebrated their 26th anniversary."
"I know! Its just a huge step," he tweeted. "I have to make sure I 100% love myself beforehand, she deserves that. Me at my 100%."
Hopefully Tyler will be at "100 percent" soon, because we're not sure how much longer Catelynn is willing to wait for her man to walk down the aisle.
