What Are Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici Doing for Their Honeymoon?
Imagine getting engaged while filming a TV show and then having to wait four months to be able to go in public together! That’s what Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici had to do. Their Season 17 of The Bachelor finished filming in November 2012, but wasn’t aired until March 11, 2013.
Then, Sean and Catherine decided not to live together because of religious beliefs, and on Sunday, January 26, they’ll finally spend their first night “getting to know each other,” biblically, if you know what we mean… So, naturally, we’re expecting their honeymoon to be kind of a big deal.
One thing though: we don’t even know what they’re doing, really. (Other than what they’re doing, bow chicka bow wow.) The wedding takes place at the Four Seasons Resort Biltmore, an incredibly gorgeous hotel overlooking the water. After their televised live wedding and “big party” of a reception, they’ll retreat to the incredible honeymoon suite we previewed on the Bachelor: Love Stories special on January 19.
Catherine has already nicknamed the bedroom “consummation station,” and speaks openly about how excited she is to finally get down and dirty with her hot husband. But while Santa Barbara is a gorgeous place, and is 1,500 miles away from the couple’s Dallas hometown, aren’t they going to go farther?
Maybe New York? Sean joked with Season 13 Bachelor Jason Mesnick about a possible destination, after the vintage Bachelor tweeted, “@SeanLowe09 looking forward to the big day. Ohhhh and GOOOOO @Seahawks. Let's all go on a honeymoon to the #SuperBowl.” Sean jumped right in, responding, “@jason_mesnick @Seahawks I'm in as long as you can convince @clmgiudici.”
“@SeanLowe09 @Seahawks @clmgiudici Catherine... Pretty please can we all go to the Superbowl? I promise I will never ask anything ever again,” Jason begged. So, is Sean’s bride on board? Duh. The Seattle native was happy to comply, tweeting “Lesdoit.”
SeanCat just returned from a wave of shows with Good Morning America and The View in New York City, so we doubt they want to hop back into the snowy town soon when they could be somewhere tropical.
But given that Sean played football at Kansas State, and Catherine, Jason, and Molly Mesnick all have ties to Seattle, maybe they should consider ducking out early from their vacay to hit up Manhattan to watch the Seahawks win their first Super Bowl...
