Sure, all of Bachelor Nation feels like they’re part of Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici’s January 26, 2014 wedding, but not everyone’s going to be lucky enough to score an invite. In fact, a source tells Wetpaint Entertainment that even some of their best pals from their own seasons won’t be on the guest list! Who can we expect to see and who will be (noticeably) absent? Read on!
Catherine has already stated that BFF Lesley Murphy, whom she met while both ladies were on The Bachelor Season 17, will be a bridesmaid. You can also bet that castmates Daniella McBride and Robyn Howard will be in attendance as well. “During filming, Catherine, Lesley, Daniella, and Robyn were a foursome,” a source tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “Catherine will want all of them there.”
One woman, however, who’s definitely persona non grata? Emily Maynard, the star of The Bachelorette Season 8, who sent Sean home just before the finale. “I’m sure the network execs will want her there for ratings,” the source explains. “They’ll probably push to get her invited.” Just don’t expect her to show. “Emily Maynard,” a second source says strongly, “will NOT be at this wedding. It would be way too awkward.”
And this isn’t the first time Em’s been the recipient of some mad shade. Back in March, Sean was asked on a call about whether his sexy ex-y would be keeping a pew warm, and it does not sound promising. "Emily will not be invited to the wedding. I think the world of her but it wouldn't be the most appropriate thing to have her there,” Sean commented at the time.
Other leads of both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, however, will be more than welcome. “I’m sure Jason and Molly [Mesnick] will be there as will Desiree [Hartsock] and Chris [Siegfried],” the first source notes.
As for the groom? It’s still unclear which of his Bachelorette bros, if any, will make the guest list, but buddy Tony Pieper tells us he’s hoping for an invite. “I’m not expecting one,” Tony tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “I mean, Sean is such a big deal now. But if I get one, I’d be thrilled to go.”
