Rapper Young Jeezy, aka Jay Wayne Jenkins, must not have resolved to stay out of trouble with the law this year. We’re just three weeks into January and the platinum-selling artist now has two arrests under his belt — the latest for police obstruction, according to TMZ.
The 36-year-old rapper was arrested in the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta after police responded to a security alarm call at his girlfriend’s home. Despite the routine nature of the visit, Jeezy apparently was uncooperative with police questions, telling officers “F—k you, I ain’t telling you,” when asked for his name. That was apparently enough to get him sent to Fulton County Jail
Jeezy’s reluctance to comply with the cops might have something to do with his arrest earlier this month after an altercation with his son, which occurred back in September of 2012. The fight was reportedly very heated, with Jeezy allegedly choking his son and threatening to kill him. The F.A.M.E. rapper was released on a $45,000 bond shortly after arrest on charges of battery, false imprisonment, and terroristic threats.
No word yet on the cost of posting bail for this second arrest. Here’s hoping Jeezy can stay out of police custody the rest of this month.
