She may be a country singer, but Miranda Lambert's inspiration for her healthy lifestyle is pop music — or, at least, a certain pop star's body!
In the June 2014 issue of Women's Health, the "Automatic" singer gave tips for feeling good about your body, like using music to your advantage.
"Use hot singers as motivation," she recommended. "Like, if I put on Britney, I can picture Britney's body, and I'm like, 'Oh! Faster!'"
On June 24, Britney Spears posted a snapshot of the blurb on her Instagram account, writing, "So flattered by this @mirandalambert! My sister @jamielynnspears just showed me. You look amazing!"
The next day, Miranda re-grammed Britney's post. "This is so cool!" she wrote in the caption. "Thanks, girls!"
The 30-year-old recently lost a considerable amount of weight, and she told the magazine that one of the reasons she did so was because she was getting offers from weight-loss companies hoping to help her lose 40 pounds.
"I'd think, But I'm not obese," she remembers. "I'm only a size 8. I really don't even need to lose 40 pounds. I thought I only needed to lose like 15, but now that you mention it, dang, I do look kind of bad! Thanks for bringing that to my attention, asshole."
Well, Miranda is pretty much perfect in whatever shape, but we gotta be impressed by her recent transformation. You go, girl!
