Lizzy Caplan as Janis Ian in Mean Girls
When Mean Girls first hit theaters on April 30, 2004, no one could have predicted that it would become one of the most quoted movies of all time. Ten years later, we’re still saying “fetch” and asking if butter’s a carb, thanks in large part to the phenomenal script written by co-star Tina Fey.
Of course, the other members of the cast played a hand in making the movie a success, including the incredibly talented actress Lizzy Caplan. Though she’d only been seen in a handful of projects prior to landing the role of Janis Ian, the comedy catapulted her career to new heights. She’s come to be known for her TV work in True Blood, Party Down, and Masters of Sex, and stealing the show in films like Save the Date and Bachelorette.
Lizzy’s sure come a long way since her days of wearing “your mom’s chest hair,” and her look has evolved just as dramatically as her career. Click through to see Lizzy Caplan’s crazy transformation through the years!
