French music producer/DJ David Guetta and night club manager Cathy Guetta are not only breaking up, their divorce has already been finalized by a Paris court. C'est fini!
According to People, they met in 1992 and got married that same year. They have two kids — Tim Elvis, 10, and Angie, 6. They just renewed their vows in 2012 in Ibiza, in honor of their 20th anniversary, but apparently the union wasn’t meant to last much longer. (Check out a photo of the couple here.)
David's music star has been on the rise in the past few years, and you've probably heard a bunch of his songs on the radio, from "Without You" (featuring Usher) and "Memories" (featuring Kid Cudi) to "When Love Takes Over" (featuring Kelly Rowland) to "Titanium" (featuring Sia).
David, 46, has two Grammys as a producer. He's released four albums and produced ones for Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Madonna, among others. He and Cathy collaborated on the electronic dance music compilation series F-ck Me I'm Famous. His net worth is estimated at $30 million, and he has more than 14 million Twitter followers. He may not be a household name, but he's basically taking over the music world.
It’s always sad when a marriage ends, but 22 years is impressive for any couple — especially one in the public eye with all the temptation that money, touring and fame tend to bring. Good luck to both of them.
