Looks like becoming a princess just isn't in the future for Cressida Bonas. People reports the 24-year-old dance student and Prince Harry have broken up.
Thus ends a two-year relationship for the 29-year-old prince, who's currently fourth in the line of succession to the British throne — behind his father, Charles; his brother, William; and his new nephew, George.
After Harry was introduced to Cressida by their mutual friend, Princess Eugenie, they had a brief fling in summer 2012 before reigniting their romance in February 2013.
However, as People reports, Harry has recently been telling his pals that his relationship with Cressy — as she's known to her friends — was going south. "He found her too needy, and it just wasn't working out," a source tells the magazine.
Then again, they were spotted at their first official function together only last month, an outing which led many to think that this relationship had what it took to go the distance.
Well, let's just hope that the breakup had a bare minimum of drama and that these two are able to move forward as friends. And Prince Harry, guess it's back to square one in finding your future princess! Best of luck, old chap!
