Terrence Howard’s divorce isn’t getting any easier. The actor’s third ex-wife, Michelle Howard, claims her one-time husband owes her a boatload of money. How much? How’s $325K sound?
As we reported back in May, Michelle said Terrence has missed 49 spousal support payments since they parted ways in 2012. Now the 45-year-old Empire actor has fired back, asking a judge to throw out his entire divorce settlement with Michelle, reports TMZ. On what grounds? Just that she’s asking for way too much money and not leaving him enough to live on.
Terrence claims he’s got just under $6,000 a month after paying Michelle, which, to our ears, isn’t a bad way of life, but clearly doesn’t work for T. He wants their settlement thrown out since, he adds, they were only married a year and then he was extorted and blackmailed into signing the settlement.
Michelle, for her part, isn’t giving up any ground and we doubt she will. These are such big figures, we’re expecting plenty more headlines ahead as Terrence and Michelle, or rather their lawyers, try to find some agreement. That is, if Terrence still has a legal team. In May, TMZ reported his team was ready to quit, asking a judge to release them because of “a total and complete breakdown in communications.”
Yep, that seems to be a theme for Terrence.
